A note from Rissy

Healing happens when we can feel safe to be authentic and open. I created Now Me to hold that space — where you can access psychotherapy, plant medicine, meditation, and spiritual awakening as one continuous journey.

What we offer

Three ways to work together.

Every person arrives carrying something different. These are the paths clients most often walk with us — they can stand alone or weave together.

i
01 — Psychotherapy

Individual, couples, family & youth counseling

Nineteen years of experience in crisis intervention, trauma, family dynamics, suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, and gender identity, among others. The focus is a strong, compassionate, safe therapeutic relationship — on an individual basis.

  • Individual counseling
  • Couples & family therapy
  • Children & adolescents
  • Group counseling
ii
02 — Holistic healing

Mind, body & spirit as one whole being

A holistic approach treats you as a whole. We offer cacao ceremonies in group and individual sessions, KAP (ketamine-assisted psychotherapy) and psychedelic integration therapy, and group retreats — so your shift can be long-lasting and sustainable.

  • Cacao ceremonies
  • KAP & psychedelic integration
  • Meditation & breathwork
  • Seasonal group retreats
iii
03 — Workplace learning

  • Stress & burnout workshops
  • Team building
  • Keynote speaking
  • Custom programs
Portrait of Rissy Batista
Meet your therapist

Rissy Batista, LPC.
Holistic therapist. Bilingual. Present.

My name is Rissy. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and migrated to the USA at age 11. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2006. I am an avid reader, an outdoors lover, and a mother of four amazing souls.

As a psychotherapist with 19 years of experience working with individuals, youth, couples, and families across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, I recognize the value of a strong, compassionate, and safe therapeutic relationship. My commitment is to inspire growth and connection — to ourselves, to each other, and to the planet — as we journey through this human experience.

For first-timers

If you've never done this before.

Starting therapy can feel like standing at a door you haven't walked through yet. Here are the questions we hear most from new clients.

I've never been to therapy. What should I expect?

The first session is mostly a conversation. You share what's bringing you in, and we see if we're a good fit. There's no script you need to follow. If you want to bring notes, bring notes. If you want to just talk, we just talk.

Do you offer telehealth or only in-person?

Both. In-person sessions happen at our Milford, PA office. Telehealth is available for clients across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Rissy is bilingual — native fluency in both English and Spanish. You can do sessions in either language, or move between them.

What is holistic healing, in plain words?

It means treating you as a whole being — mind, body, and spirit — rather than only the symptom you walked in with. Cacao ceremonies, meditation, group retreats, and psychedelic integration are some of the tools we draw on, always alongside traditional psychotherapy, never instead of it.

How do I know if you're the right fit?

You don't have to know right away. Most clients use the first session or two to feel it out. If something isn't clicking, we'll talk about it — and if referring you elsewhere would serve you better, we'll do that honestly.

What about privacy and confidentiality?

Everything you share stays between you and your therapist, within the standard HIPAA and state-law protections. Exceptions are the legally required ones (risk of harm to self or others, abuse reporting), which we'll go over in your first session.

Reach out. We'll take it from there.

This form isn't clinical — it's just a first hello. Share what feels comfortable, and we'll reply with availability and next steps, usually within two business days.
